WIN CELEBRATES SCENIC HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT

Working Interfaith Network (WIN) continues to celebrate the ongoing work of the Scenic Highway Enhancement Project.  Several years ago, churches in the Scotlandville area created a plan to revitalize the Scenic Highway corridor. This plan, called the Scenic Highway Enhancement Project, involved several phases of construction and development, including sidewalks, better lighting, beautification, economic development, and youth recreation, among many other things. Through the hard work and persistence of the leaders in churches along the Scenic corridor, as well as key political allies in the area, the sidewalk phase of the project is currently underway.
