PICO Louisiana Interfaith Together (PICO LIFT) is a statewide effort consisting of 6 faith-based community organizing projects in Louisiana covering 13 cities. PICO LIFT has been organizing communities in Louisiana since 1988. We are made up of more than 100 congregations from 12 denominations. Approximately 64,000 families belong to PICO LIFT congregations. The areas organized by PICO LIFT account for 49% of all the registered voters in the state. PICO LIFT provides an opportunity for people and congregations to translate their faith into action—together, we are working for justice.
